Flower Drawings was a collaborative project with artist Brook Morgan. Reflecting the cyclical nature of the one-day Collaborateurs project, we collected the materials, constructed pieces, installed and then de-installed over the course of the exhibition day. Likening the gallery site to a studio space, fresh flowers and foliage were be employed as drawing tools, informing the site through interventions, performative studies and adornments for architecture, objects and audience alike. The fading fabric of the plant material allowed for a critiquing of value systems within the gallery context, while highlighting the weight and mark making of time.
