Gaining a day was shown in the group exhibition, Le pain quotidian at ParisCONCRET. Created in response to the eight hours gained in travelling from Australia to Paris to undertake the project, the work reconstructs the passage of time through revisiting several older works and creating a new response from them. The past and future co-exist passively together through these groupings of ceramic, plant, wood and painted pieces, conceptualising a more pliable shape of time.
